Few names in arena football carry the credibility and championship pedigree of Siaha Burley. A former Arena Football League superstar and one of the most productive receivers in the history of the indoor game, Burley now brings his elite offensive vision and championship experience to the sidelines as Head Coach of the Utah Great 8’s.
Burley first rose to prominence at the University of Central Florida, where he led the Knights in receiving for two consecutive seasons after beginning his collegiate career at Mesa Community College. Known for his explosiveness and playmaking ability, he was also a dangerous weapon in the return game.
His professional career in the Arena Football League turned him into one of the most electrifying players the sport has ever seen. Burley starred with teams including the Orlando Predators, Arizona Rattlers, Utah Blaze, and Los Angeles Avengers, earning multiple All-Arena honors and being named AFL Offensive Player of the Year twice.
In 2007, while playing for the Utah Blaze, Burley delivered one of the greatest seasons in arena football history, setting league records with 166 receptions and 2,129 receiving yards.
Following his playing career, Burley transitioned seamlessly into coaching. His leadership quickly produced results across the indoor football landscape. As head coach of the Jacksonville Sharks, he guided the organization to two championships, establishing himself as one of the top coaching minds in the arena game.
Burley has continued his success with coaching roles for organizations including the Arizona Rattlers and Northern Arizona Wranglers, most recently helping the Rattlers capture the 2025 Indoor Football League Championship as Assistant Head Coach.
Now leading the Utah Great 8’s, Burley brings a rare combination of player credibility, championship experience, and offensive creativity. His high-energy style and deep knowledge of the indoor game position Utah as a dangerous and exciting team in the International Arena League.
