Phillip Garcia brings more than a decade of international coaching experience to the Glasgow Tartans.

A respected football strategist known for building competitive programs, Garcia has coached across Europe and Asia while leading teams to playoff appearances, divisional titles, and championship runs.

Most recently he served as Head Coach of the St. Pölten Invaders, guiding the team to the 2024 Silver Bowl Championship and the organization’s first title in 15 years.

Garcia’s career includes coaching roles with programs such as the Odense Badgers, Rostock Griffins, Leipzig Lions, Brno Sígrs, Kouvola Indians, Győr Sharks, and Carinthian Lions, among others.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes speed, discipline, and situational awareness, helping players maximize their abilities while building strong team culture.

With Garcia leading the program, the Glasgow Tartans are poised to become a major force in the International Arena League’s European division.
