International Arena League (IAL)
The International Arena League is a professional indoor football league launching its inaugural season in 2026. Built around the fast-paced, high-scoring style of arena football, the IAL is set to feature 10 teams competing across the United States and select international markets.
The league’s structure includes a full regular season schedule followed by postseason play, creating meaningful competition and a clear championship path from opening kickoff to the title game.
The IAL was created with a vision to modernize arena football while expanding its reach. By combining U.S. franchises with planned international teams, the league aims to grow the sport beyond traditional regional boundaries. This international footprint reflects a commitment to broadening fan engagement, creating new market opportunities, and positioning arena football on a larger global stage.
Beyond competition, the IAL focuses on stability, community presence, and player opportunity. Teams are rooted in their local markets, working to build strong fan bases and long-term partnerships. For athletes, the league provides a professional platform to showcase talent, continue development, and compete at a high level in one of football’s most dynamic formats.
