Born April 23, 1985 in Aurora, Colorado, Barrett spent his early years in the Denver area before relocating with his family to Birmingham, Alabama. Growing up in a football-focused environment helped shape his passion for athletics and mentorship.
Barrett’s extended family includes several accomplished football players, including Antoine Cason, the 2007 Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation’s top defensive back at the University of Arizona, and Ken-Yon Rambo, who played in the NFL with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys before continuing his career in the Canadian Football League.
Beyond football, Barrett has been active in community service and youth mentorship. During high school he participated in Jack and Jill of America, a national organization dedicated to leadership development and civic engagement. He has also volunteered with children’s hospitals in both Birmingham and Denver and participated in programs such as “Read With The Buffs,” promoting literacy among students.
As General Manager of the England Eruptors, Barrett focuses on building a strong organizational foundation, developing competitive rosters, and establishing the franchise as a key presence within the International Arena League.
