CINCINNATI, Ohio — International Arena League (IAL) — The Cincinnati Slingers have signed versatile athlete Darius Meadors, bringing a powerful two-way playmaker to the team’s roster.

Meadors stands 6-foot and weighs 250 pounds, combining size and athleticism that allows him to contribute in multiple roles. A product of Central State University and Virginia University, Meadors most recently competed professionally with the Shreveport Rouxgaroux.

Known for his ability to move the ball and deliver physical play on both sides of the field, Meadors adds depth and flexibility to the Slingers lineup.

Slingers Head Coach praised Meadors’ versatility.

“Darius is the kind of player who can do a little bit of everything,” the coach said. “He brings power, athleticism, and experience. In arena football, players who can impact the game in multiple ways are extremely valuable.”

The team’s General Manager added that Meadors’ professional experience made him a strong addition to the roster.

“Darius has already proven himself in professional indoor football,” the GM said. “We believe his physical style and leadership will help elevate this team.”

Meadors said joining the Slingers is an opportunity he is excited about.
