Former Oregon State Playmaker Tyjon Lindsey Joins Las Vegas
Las Vegas Rockers Sign Former Oregon State Receiver Tyjon Lindsey
LAS VEGAS, Nevada — International Arena League (IAL) — The Las Vegas Rockers have added speed and big-play ability to their offense with the signing of wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey.
Lindsey, a Corona, California native, played collegiately at the University of Nebraska before transferring to Oregon State University, where he became a reliable playmaker for the Beavers offense.
Standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 171 pounds, Lindsey is known for his explosive acceleration, sharp route running, and ability to create separation in space. His speed and quickness make him an ideal fit for the high-scoring arena game.
Rockers Head Coach said Lindsey brings a dynamic element to the offense.
“Tyjon is a playmaker,” the coach said. “He has elite quickness and the ability to turn short passes into big gains. In arena football, those skills are extremely valuable.”
The Rockers General Manager said Lindsey’s experience at the highest levels of college football stood out.
“Tyjon has competed against top competition and proven he can make plays,” the GM said. “We expect him to bring excitement to our offense.”
Lindsey said he’s excited about the opportunity in Las Vegas.
“I’m ready to show what I can do and help this team win,” Lindsey said. “The Rockers are building something special and I’m excited to be part of it.”
