LAS VEGAS, Nevada — International Arena League (IAL) — The Las Vegas Rockers have added size and range to their defensive secondary with the signing of defensive back Mustafa Majeed.

Majeed, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound defensive back who played collegiately at Clark Atlanta University, brings length and athleticism to the Rockers defense. Known for his ability to cover ground quickly and disrupt passing lanes, Majeed developed into a dependable defensive presence during his college career.

With arena football’s fast-paced passing game placing a premium on defensive backs who can match up against dynamic receivers, Majeed’s size and wingspan give him the ability to challenge passes and create turnovers.

Rockers Head Coach said Majeed’s physical tools made him a strong addition to the defensive unit.

“Mustafa has the length and athleticism you want in the secondary,” the coach said. “He can cover, he can close on the football, and he brings a competitive mentality that fits our defense.”

The Rockers General Manager added that Majeed’s upside was a key factor in the signing.

“Players with Mustafa’s size and movement skills are valuable in this league,” the GM said. “We believe he has the ability to develop into a difference-maker in the secondary.”

Majeed said he’s ready to embrace the opportunity in Las Vegas.
