CINCINNATI, Ohio — International Arena League (IAL) — The Cincinnati Slingers have signed physical two-way player Calvin Fance, adding strength and toughness to both the defensive and offensive units.

Fance, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound athlete out of Angelo State University, brings a rare blend of power and versatility. Capable of playing linebacker and fullback, he gives the Slingers flexibility in both defensive formations and short-yardage offensive situations.

During his collegiate career, Fance developed a reputation as a hard-hitting defender with the ability to control the line of scrimmage.

“Calvin plays the game with intensity,” the Slingers Head Coach said. “He’s physical, disciplined, and brings the kind of toughness you want on both sides of the ball.”

The team’s General Manager added that Fance fits the identity the Slingers are building.

“Arena football rewards players who are strong, explosive, and adaptable,” the GM said. “Calvin checks all those boxes.”
